In a city that has worshipped cats since Venetian sailors brought them to guard the grain stores, the Kotor Cats Museum is an inevitable and entirely charming institution. Across two floors of a medieval old town building, the collection celebrates the city's famous feline obsession through art, artefacts, and considerable merchandise. Equal parts museum and gift shop, and entirely unapologetic about it.
