Clock Tower
The vibe
The square that everything radiates from.
Standing at the centre of the Square of Arms, the Clock Tower has been marking Kotor's hours since the 17th century. Beside it, a stone pillar once used for public shaming still stands — a reminder that this square has always been the city's social heart. It is less a destination than a constant: the place you leave from, the place you return to.
What we love
- Water (or views) that justify the detour, not just the parking.
- Enough shade, shelter, and coffee within a hundred metres to make a day of it.
- A crowd profile that changes with the hour — go early or go at golden hour.
