Valdanos

CategoryBeach

A deep, quiet bay ringed by one of Europe's oldest olive groves — 18,000 trees, some over 2,000 years old. The beach is rough pebble with good shade, a few konobas serving fried fish, and almost none of the crowds you'll find a few coves west.

What we love

  • Water (or views) that justify the detour, not just the parking.
  • Enough shade, shelter, and coffee within a hundred metres to make a day of it.
  • A crowd profile that changes with the hour — go early or go at golden hour.
